About the Firm Karen Brosi, EA, CFP® has been practicing in Palo Alto for over 15 years.  She is a Certified Financial Planner professional and is Enrolled to Practice before the Internal Revenue Service. Prior to establishing her own firm, Karen was a senior tax specialist and director of the financial planning department at a respected Palo Alto CPA firm.  A native Californian, she completed her undergraduate education at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a major in Mathematics. In the community, Karen is active in her local church and the Palo Alto Rotary Club. She is the founding president of FANS of Cal Poly Theatre, an Alumni Association Support Group, and is a past-president of Golden Gate Chapter and past officer of the California Society of Enrolled Agents. Karen advises clients in individual tax and family wealth planning. A frequent lecturer, Karen has written articles on various tax and financial planning topics and has been widely quoted in the print media, particulary the San Jose Mercury News.
